etired Senior Master Sergeant (USAF) Donnie Gaston Arnder, 79, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
He was born in Mount Airy, NC to the late Lula Mae Williamson and Albert Gaston Arnder. Mr. Arnder was preceded in death by his elder sister, Beverly Arnder Hunter of High Point, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wilma L. Arnder; daughter, Deborah D. Hubbard and husband, Jeffrie Duane Hubbard of Goldsboro; son, Dr. Lance L. Arnder and wife, Leng L. Arnder of Goldsboro and Park City, Utah; son, Layne L. Arnder and wife Myra Arnder of Hookerton, NC; daughter, Laura L. Andrews and husband, Michael D. Andrews of Raleigh, NC; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two beloved pet dogs, Binki and Cindi.
A service to celebrate Donnie's life will be held August 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.

Donnie then married Wilma Lee Loftis on October 12, 1961; daughter of Robert and Ethel (_____) Loftis. Wilma was born on November 9, 1937 in Surry County, NC. Donnie died on August 20, 2014 and was cremated.
