My maternal uncle. During the summers when I was between 10 and 12, I would go to the farm to work, Collins would take me fishing in Spring Bayou.

Captain in the US Army Air Corps during World War II.
He ran the family farm after his father died in 1948. The road where the farm was loacated is currently named after him: Collins Mayeux Road on Hwy 452 outside Marksville.

After Mollie died, Collins married Zepher Marie Bordelon. Zeph is buried with her first husband, Anthony Dallas Janet, inside Mausoleum #1 in Tier D, Crypt 109 at Cemetery # 2 See Find A Grave # 20962455

After Zeph died he married Berthalee Desselle. She will be buried with her 1st husband, Sylvan Mitchell Brouillette, in St. Joseph Cemetery # 1 in Section A.
