Mr. Abshire died Thursady, November 6, 1997, in an automobile accident. A native of Welsh, he was a resident of Sulphur. He graduated from Parkview Christian Academy. He was employed at Universal Services.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Winfred (Pamela) Abshire of Sulphur; his mother, Diane Mendoza of Welsh; one sister, Kasey M. Abshire of Sulphur; and two step-brothers, Cody Lynn Daigle of Welsh and Mathew Ray Abshire of Sulphur.
