Preston Addy, aged 75 years, a highly respected citizen of Knox Township, passed away Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. C. Warden of North Eighth Street, following an illness of three months.

Mr. Addy was a lifelong resident of Guernsey Count and was born on a farm adjoining his late home. He was a faithful member of the Flat Ridge M. E. Church, serving for many years as an offices in various departments of the church.

Surviving to mourn his death are his widow and the following children; Mrs. Campbell Warden, Mrs. Robert Atkinson and Mrs. Raymond Roahrig of Cambridge, James and Marshall Addy of near Birds Run, and Mrs. Amanda Hammond of the home. One daughter, Mrs. Edna Worthington, preceded him in death.

Private funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Campbell Warden home on North Eighth Street. Interment will be made at Northwood Cemetery. Friends wishing to view the remains may do so before the hour of the funeral.
