Bertha A. Schoonbeck
Bertha A. Schoonbeck, 80, of 860 20th St. NE, died Saturday.
She was born in Pitcairn, Pa. She moved to Salem in 1950 from San Jose, Calif. She worked as a nursing anesthetist at Salem Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her niece, Jeanne Humphreys, Salem; and nephews, Bill Beckett, Salem, Dave Beckett, Knox, and Carl Graham, Kingston, N.Y.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Virgil T. Golden mortuary. Private interment follows at Belcrest Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
