JOHN F. NAVIN DIES IN ROCHESHER, N.Y.
Baseball Magnate's Brother to Be Buried in Detroit.


John F. Navin, brother of Frank J. Navin, president of the Detroit Baseball club, and father of Charles F. Navin, secretary of the club, died at Rochester, New York, Tuesday.

Navin was well known in Detroit, having been for many years in the office of Babcock & May, Detroit agents for the Phoenix, and remained so until his death. He was born in Adrian 66 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Navin, and his son Charles and his brother Frank.

The body will be brought to Detroit Wednesday morning and will be taken to the residence of his son, Charles, 600 Ashland avenue. The funeral will be from SS. Peter and Paul's Jesuit church, Jefferson avenue, at 9:30, burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
