She was the second of 5 children. Sidney (1916-1967) Joyce, William (1927-1984) & John.
She married Thomas Wood on 8 February 1942. The marriage was short lived due to WW2. There were no children.
She married Fireman Stuart Spencer Phillips (k/a Spencer) on 24 May 1947, at Hastings RO.
They had two childen. A son Dennis & a daughter, Anne.
Greatly loved by her Grandchildren, Peter, Paul, Julian, Charmian, Charlton (& Kirby, born the year after her death). Also her many Great Grandchildren.
She is buried at Hastings Cemetery, The Ridge.
This cemetery is also where many of her GLENISTER ancestors are also buried.
