Hiram was the oldest son of David & Rhoada. He is buried adjacent to his wife [Lula] and their oldest son [Vernon]. Additionally, many of his wife's relatives [Douthitt] are buried nearby. Hiram used the spelling "WEDDLE" contrary to his father [ref: David Weddel]. That spelling [WEDDLE] is consistant with past generations [other than his father]. Ironically, his wife's tombstone, uses the spelling of "WEDDEL" consistant with Hiram's father but contrary to that of he or his children. The headstone name-spelling was possibility due to the influence of her brother-in-laws.
His middle name [FENTON] is shared with his son [Ray] and grandson [Carroll].
He's pictured with this wife Lula, sons Curtis, Owen and Ray. His daughter Thelma is not pictured.
Hiram's home was nine miles directly South of Bluejacket cemetery, South-of-the-railroad-tracks, East-side-of-road, top-of-the hill. Formally know as Todd Junction.
