EMERY P. DENHAM
GLASGOW, Ky., Nov. 30.–(Special.)–Emery P. Denham, one of the oldest men in the county, died quite suddenly at his country home near Temple Hill this morning, aged 97 years. Mr. Denham was on of the pioneer settlers of Barren county. Notwithstanding his advanced age, he had looked after his duties on the farm until a few months ago. Apoplexy and old age is supposed to have been the cause of his death. He is survived by three children–W. H. and J. W. Denham of this county and J. S. Denham of Glasgow. Funeral services will be conducted at the home by the Rev. Renoe of the Baptist church, and the remains interred in the family cemetery.
