Lavaun Martha Pittaway, age 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016, at her residence. She was born February 28, 1937, in Cumi, Arkansas to Claude and Emma Lois (Minge) Hensley.
Mrs. Pittaway married Walter H. Pittaway June 6, 1953, in Mountain Home. She worked in food service with the Mountain Home Public School System for 29 years. She was a member of Walker Road Church of Christ.
Mrs. Pittaway is survived by three children Walter Patrick Pittaway of Mountain Home, Kathleen Lewis and husband Kevin of Mountain Home and Roger Pittaway and wife Dawn of Gainesville, a sister Juanita Rick of Mountain Home, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Reed's Grove Cemetery with Brother Pat Mannon offficiating. A visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
