Catherine was married to John Gabriel in Wayne Co. Ohio on March 22, 1849. This certainly indicates that the DOB on the monument is in error. Williams Co. death record (Williams Co. Deaths, Vol. 3, page 48) indicates a DOB of 1829. The 1850 census of Wayne Co. Ohio indicates a DOB of 1829. The 1870 and 1900 census of Williams Co. Ohio indicate a DOB of 1829 and the 1880 census of Williams Co. Ohio indicates a DOB of 1830. John and Catherine had other children although ages in census records are somewhat confusing.
