Donald Joe Talley went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 3, 2016 at his home at the age of 72. Don was born March 8, 1944 to L.J. and Lola (McKinley) Talley in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Don married his wife Caroline in 1964 in Darwin, Oklahoma, they had been married 52 years. Together they raised two children their son Don and daughter Toni. Don was a hard working man who's main goal was to provide for his family and he thought of his co-workers as family. During his off time Don enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing with his buddies and grandchildren. The most important thing to Don was his family. He was always there for his family when they needed a helping hand.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; Lola & L.J. Talley, Ruth Talley-Winkle, grandson; Donnie Joe Talley, Siblings; Lois Winkle-Miller, James "Bo" Winkle, Bruce Winkle, as well as Leona Talley-McArthur, Ramona Talley-Webb, Hazel Talley-Church, Alvin Talley and Allen Talley.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife of Caroline Talley; children Don and wife Barbara Talley of Antlers and Toni and husband Steve Savage of Antlers; sisters Odessa and husband EH Dunham of Texas, Eunice and husband Gene Hollaway of Antlers, Betty Jo and Jimmie Hill of Texas, and Terry and husband Frank Morgan of Texas; grandchildren John boy Jones, Ashley and husband Jake Self, Joey Jones, Heath and wife Clarissa Talley, and Danielle Talley all of Antlers; great-grandchildren Jaylee, Samantha, Kambree & Lexi, Clod and Toad all of Antlers, as well as many other family members and a host of friends.

Service will be held Monday, November 7, 2016 at 10 o'clock a.m. at the Round Up Cowboy Church in Antlers with Johnathon Hooker and Donnie Day officiating. Interment will be at Darwin Cemetery.
