Shirley Ann Willey, 73, of Garland, Kansas died at 9:22 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Mercy Hospital at Joplin, Missouri.
Mrs. Willey was born May 5, 1943 at Mulberry, Kansas the daughter of Carl and Margie Ball Alexander.
Shirley was a homemaker who lived in Mulberry and Garland most of her life. She was raised in Mulberry and attended Mulberry Schools.
She married Virgil Willey in Miami, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband Virgil of the home, two daughters, Lisa Willey of San Diego, California and Kristine Willey of Ft. Scott, Kansas, two sons, Michael Willey of Ft. Scott, Kansas and Troy (Shanna) Willey of Bonner Springs, Kansas, eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Carol Alexander, and a brother, Robert Alexander.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry, Kansas with the Rev. Glenn Duderstadt officiating.
No formal visitation will be held.
The family will meet at 12 p.m. Monday at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma, Kansas to go in procession to the cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
