He was born April 28, 1951 to John and Dorothy Arnott in Minot. After he graduated high school, he joined the US Navy.
While stationed in Puerto Rico, he met his wife Gladys.
When he returned to home, he worked for the City of Minot until he retired.
He was survived by his wife, Gladys; daughter, Sarah; grandsons, Kolben and Kesler; brothers, John(Sharon) Apland, and Jim(Donna) Arnott; sisters, Phyllis Wilson and Carol Mullikin; nephews, John, Jamie(Charisse), and Jason Apland, Chad and Chase Wilson, James(Savannah)and John Arnott, and Brady Mullikin; nieces, JoAnn Apland Kemaldean and Dawn Harvey Amon.
Jerald is preceded in death by his parents.
Burial was September 19, 2014 at Rosehill Memorial Cemetery.
