Ida Lena Stienetz immigrated to America as a young girl with her parents - R. Christopher & Louisa (Hazelhoon) Stienetz and two sisters from Germany.
She married Charles Henry Raines on 25 July 1885 in Knoxville (Marion) Iowa. During their marriage they were blessed with seven children - Three Daughters (1) Carroll Raines (2) Bessie Raines (3) Myrtle Raines and Four Sons (1) Leonard (Guy) Raines (2) Charlie Raines (3) Bennie Raines (4) Johnny Raines.
Ida and Charles eventually divorced and Ida remarried to a gentleman named "E. C." Ephram Critchett, with whom she lived until her death on 29 May 1918.
