William Cephas Roy. 72. a retired farmer, died at 12:35 a.m. Friday at the Burnham City Hospital. Champaign. He had been ill for the past six weeks.
He was born at Oneida. Tenn., Oct. 1. 1901. a son of Alexander Z. and Armilda Wilson Roy.
He married Goldie-Hinkle Jan. 2. 1924. at Weldon.
Surviving are his wife: two daughters; six sons; a brother; two sisters; 32 grandchildren;
and 6 great-grandchildren.
A son preceded him in death.
Mr. Roy farmed most of his life in the Mahomet Fisher area before his retirement.
