CHAMBERS, Ruth L. (nee: Clifton), 86 of Auburn, NE, and formerly of Lebanon, OH died Monday, October 31, 2016. Born to Benjamin and Mary (nee: Penick) Clifton on July 26, 1930 in Covington, KY. Ruth was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing every chance she could. Her grandchildren were her passion in life as well as being a long time member of the First Church of Christ in Lebanon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Oliver Chambers, two brothers and three sisters.
Ruth is survived by her three sons, Dan (Sherry) Chambers, David Chambers and Darrell (Nan) Chambers, one daughter, Donna (Robert) Schmitz, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren, four great great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4th from 10:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral service beginning at 11:00AM all at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment to follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Activities Department at the Ambassador Nursing Home in Nebraska City, NE.
