William Edward "Ed" Bell, age 84 of Noble, Oklahoma, passed away on October 31, 2016. Ed was born on March 28, 1932, in Mena, Arkansas, to Walter Ernest and Freda Emma (Lindenau) Bell.
He was a cross country truck driver for Yellow Freight. He had well over a million miles on the road. Ed was very outgoing and generous and never met a stranger. He always shared his love of God. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and telling stories. His first love was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Zora; daughters, Kathy Bell, Sharon Bell Grady and husband, Edward, and Nancy Sanders and husband, Danny; sons, Eddy Bell and wife, Gabriela and Lonnie Huddleston and wife, Torri; grandchildren, Billy Ritter, Amanda McCullough and husband, Jason, Sarah Bibbs, Aubrey Blake and husband, David, Danielle Lavender and husband, Matt, Marshall Sanders, Eddy Bell Jr. and wife, Chrissy, Freda Bell, Gabrielle Bell, Abigail Bell Thaddeus Bell, Lorene Trail and husband, Josh, Matthew Huddleston, Ashley Huddleston, Gary Grady and wife, Heather; great-grandchildren, Laekyn Ritter, Savanna Ritter, Daylynn Ritter, Nikki Ritter, Austin McCullough and wife, Sarah, Sydney McCullough, Augie Bibbs-Nauni, Trey Blake, Tristian Blake, Teagan Blake, Tavian Blake, Talynn Blake, Tessa Blake, Stephen Bell, J.C. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Iva Lee Bell; parents, Walter and Freda Bell; sisters, Elizabeth Hardwood, Lula Ralls, and Gladys Aary; brothers, J.R. Bell, Ralph Bell, Donald “Buck” Bell and Ray Lee Bell.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Noble Assembly of God Church, located at 100 Post Oak Rd, Noble, Oklahoma. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
