FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. SAWYER WEDNESDAY
A large gathering of friends attended the funeral of Mrs. Fidela (sic) A. Sawyer, held at the Waggener and Campbell Chapel Wednesday afternoon. S. I. Rapson, first reader of the Christian Science church, conducted the service, and Mrs. J. A. Gudgell sang two hymns, accompanied by Mrs. Rapson. Beautiful flowers were in abundance, banking the casket and filling the alcove completely. The bearers were: P. H. Fayent, L. L. Davis, H. M. Angell, F. O. Williams, I. D. Rognlien and B. R. McAllister. Following the services, burial was made in Conrad Memorial cemetery.
OBITUARY
Fidelia Hughes was born November 1, 1851, at Akron, Ohio. She was united in marriage to Judson Sawyer July 3, 1869, and they removed to Sprague, Washington, in 1885. In 1896 they came to Kalispell, where they resided until 1927, when they removed to Seattle.
Mrs. Sawyer died in Seattle January 30. She is survived by three children, W. Hugh (sic) Sawyer and Mrs. G. Fredrick (Grace) Tate, both of this city, and Mrs. H. H. (Alice) Fordyce of Seattle.
