He was born July 2nd, 1933 on the ranch near Four Corners, WY to Per and Ethel(Butolph) Jonasson. Albert grew up farming and ranching his entire life. He attended the Skull Creek country school thru eighth grade.
On November 8th, 1969 he married in Bison, South Dakota. He and his wife continued to live on the ranch until the time of his death.
He loved listening to music and dancing. He delighted in telling stories about his years growing up on the ranch. Albert drove the rural school bus for twenty years.
He enjoyed his bus children and loved each one of them.
He was an avid reader of news and history related to the local area. He loved sharing stories about families and friends and the events of his community.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, ; five grandchildren, a sister, ;and two aunts.
