Pikeville- Willie Lassiter Aycock, 93, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Genesis Health Care in Mt. Olive.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterwards. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.

Mr. Aycock was born April 5, 1923 to the late Harvey and Zilphia Peoria Barnes Aycock. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of Pleasant Grove FWB Church in Pikeville. He was a dedicated employee of Mickey’s Pastry Shop for 33 years.

He is survived by two sons, Terry Aycock and wife, Joy and Royce Aycock of Pikeville; daughter, Elaine Casey and husband, Phillip of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Deb, Carolyn, Becky (Brett), Miranda (Thomas), Kritsy, Renee (Willie) and Brittney (Justin) and six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joey, Jayden, Katlie, Sierra and India.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Fields Aycock and a brother, Jake Aycock.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Willie and Renee Person at 132 Fields Road in Pikeville.

Services have been entrusted to Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
