Mary A. Hardin, affectionately known as "Grandma Mary," passed away July 9, 2006 at the age of 99. She had been a resident of Naples since 1969 having moved from Kansas City, MO. Mary was a longstanding member of the Naples Church of God and had devoted hundreds of hours volunteering as a "Pink Lady" at Naples Community Hospital.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Dolores (Jerry) VanHecke; her grandchildren, Randy (Tammy) Jones, Robert Jones and Mary VanHecke Adams; great-grandchildren, Emily Adams, Jesse Jones, Bonita Sturgeon, Brandon Southwell and Bill Sackery; and two greatgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Gentry Hardin; and her brothers and sisters.
