Beverly June Anderson Hyser, 76, passed away at home in Sioux Falls, SD on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Funeral service will be 10:00 am on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 7400 S. Minnesota Ave., Sioux Falls. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 7400 S. Minnesota Ave., Sioux Falls.

Beverly June Anderson Hyser was born on April 7, 1940 to Harold “Andy” and Beatrice Anderson in Garretson, SD. Bev grew up in Garretson, attended Garretson Schools, and was a member of Garretson Zion Lutheran Church.

She married Alfred Charles Hyser on December 28, 1962. They had two sons, Tracy (Cindy Taylor) Hyser of Brandon, SD and Joe (Sara) Hyser of Sioux Falls, SD.

They raised their family on an acreage in rural Sioux Falls where she has lived for fifty-two years. Bev worked primarily as a homemaker but also worked part-time for many special families for over twenty years. Their families were her extended family and she loved them all very much.

Special joy was brought to her life when she became a Grandmother. In addition to her sons, Bev is survived by six granddaughters: Sarah, Madison, Piper, Kirstan, and Kailee Hyser, and Megan Johnson; two grandsons: Christopher Hyser and Cody Taggart; brother, Bud (Cherie) Anderson of Parker, SD; and sister, Barb King of Sun City, AZ; six nieces and six nephews.

Bev’s grandchildren made her so proud, she loved to go to their church and school programs, watching them receive academic awards, and going to sporting events. She was very much looking forward to annual family vacations, college graduations, weddings, and great grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; and granddaughter, Jessica Hyser.
