Sudden Death.
Mrs. Serilla Shippey, wife of Col. Shippey of the Douglas House, died after only a few hours illness on Thursday forenoon, 8th inst. No postmortem examination was made, but, while vomiting, it is supposed that, a blood vessel was ruptured, causing death. She was past 50 years old. Her son Geo. Was telegraphed and will arrive from Jamestown before the funeral, which takes place at 2 o’clock to day, Friday. Adelbert and Carrie are home. Her other daughter, Mary Brown, is in Colorado.
