GOLIAD - Amparo A. Garcia, 85, of Goliad, Texas passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016. She was born on June 14, 1931 in Kingsville, Texas to Anacleto and Antonia Alanis Acuna.
Amparo was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed her farm animals, cooking for her family, gardening and quilting. She loved being around her grandchildren.
Amparo is preceded in death by her husband, Pascual Garcia; parents, Anacleto and Antonia Acuna; son, Ricky Garcia; sister, Raquel Vera.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a rosary to follow at 7:00 P.M. at Grace Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Grace Funeral Home.
