Peter Perry Jones was born circa 1845 in Camborne, Cornwall, England, to Peter Jones and Maryann Rowe Jones. Peter Perry Jones married Elizabeth Eddy Jones in 1865. The family moved east to Isle of Man and then to Yorkshire, England. Peter Perry Jones came to the USA in 1885 with wife Elizabeth and the following children: Peter Jones (1869), William HENRY Jones (1870), John Jones (1874), Albert Jones (1875), Edith Jones Heal (1880), Emily Jones Rees(e) (1882). The Peter Perry Jones family settled in Conyngham Twp, Luzerne County, later moving to Forty Fort following the 1900 census. Two married daughters and their families also came from Yorkshire, England to Conyngham Twp (Alden) and then to Forty Fort PA: Eliza Jane Jones Rundle and husband Thomas Rundle, and Mary Ellen Jones Melson and husband Thomas Melson.
