22 Dec 2004: Dorothy Bollinger Kitt died Dec. 22, 2004 at home in Lebanon, Pa. She was 88. She was born in Bethel, Pa. and lived in Annville, Pa. and then in Scotch Plains for more than 40 years before moving to Lebanon two years ago. She was a graduate of Westchester (Pa.) Teachers College and taught in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood public schools before retiring. Earlier, she taught in the Lebanon County (Pa.) School System. She was a member of the Fanwood Garden Club and the Sierra Club and was a member and past president of the Fanwood Woman's Club. She was a member of the Fanwood Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deaconess. Her husband, Alexander Kitt, died in 2000. She is survived by a sister, Esther Trauger of Annville. Funeral services were held Monday at the Memorial Funeral Home in Fanwood. Burial was in the V.A. National Cemetery in Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pa. [Hunterdon County (NJ) Democrat]
