Sandra ‘Sandy’ Eileen (Stromley) Bell
HUDSON — Sandra “Sandy” Eileen (Stromley) Bell, 71, of Hudson, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1945, in Mason City, Iowa, to Orven “Bud” and Maurine Luella (Young) Stromley, graduated from St. Ansgar High School and attended the University of Iowa. She married Russell Dean Bell on Sept. 19, 1964, in St. Ansgar, Iowa; he died April 26, 2005.
She is survived by her three daughters: Renae (Ray) Wason-Miller of Dunkerton, IA, Susan (Dave) Pearl of Aston, PA and Karen (Chad) Smith of Denver, IA; 7 grandchildren: Shelbe Wason (Bradley Burnell) of Readlyn, IA, Hunter Wason of Cedar Falls, Landon Wason of Dunkerton, Parker and Brody Smith of Denver, and Zachary and Ellianna Pearl of Aston; one great-grandson, Benjamin Burnell of Readlyn; one brother, James Stromley (Diane) of Broomfield, CO; nieces, Erin (John) Wahl of Lakewood, CO and daughter Sonia, and Sara Stromley of Redmond, WA; brother- and sister-in-law, James and Nancy Bell of St. Ansgar; nieces, Gail (Steve) Smith of St. Ansgar and Dawn (Chris) Standing of Ankeny, IA; and one nephew, Dean (Becky) Bell of Ankeny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother-in-law Harlan Bell.
Funeral services: Monday, Oct. 31, at Heartland Vineyard Church, Cedar Falls, with Private Family Burial later in Hudson Cemetery.
