PHYLLIS PALAZZINI COTHERMAN Age 60, of Palm Beach Gardens, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 16, 1945, in Bayonne, NJ, to the late Ruth (Handby) and Ernest Palazzini. She graduated from Overton High School in 1964. Phyllis enjoyed many hobbies but her favorite was hand crafting and distributing angels and teddy bears to children with cancer and to their nursing staff. She also helped raise funds for the Lymphoma Society. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Robert; four sisters, Scottie Miller, of Dallas, TX, Betty Creason, of Corinth, MS, Rita Hayes of Memphis, TN, and Barbara Muskelley, of Memphis, TN; her beloved stepmother Doris Palazzini; other relatives and many friends. A Memorial Service for Phyllis Cotherman will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, at Cherry Road Baptist Church, 1421 Cherry Road, Memphis, TN. The Rev. Tom Crocker, pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Hospice of Palm Beach County (5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407), or to the charitable organization of one's choice.
