CREOLE — Cheryl Lynn Daigle was born Jan. 25, 1947, in Wichita, Kan. God took her home Thursday, June 30, 2005, after a battle with lung cancer. She lived in Oklahoma and Texas as an adult. She spent the last 25 years being the wife of Ernest Daigle Sr. in Cameron.
She and Ernest shared six wonderful children, Troy Daigle, Katrina Daigle, Sheila Belcher, Ernest Daigle Jr., Zachariah Shook and Mary-Shook Jones. They were blessed with eight grandchildren, Angela Themis, Roger Themis, Alex Themis, Dustin Belcher, Dylan Belcher, Chelsea Jones, Cailyn Jones and Emmerson Sivard-Shook; and one great-grandchild, Sebastien Vincent.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer
Society. Please specify the donation is for small-cell cancer research.
Her funeral will be today, July 2, from Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church mausoleum. Visitation is from 8 a.m. in Hixson Funeral Home of Creole.
