"[The Salem Democrat, December 29, 1800, Livonia Items dated December 27, 1880] - Died at the residence of her sister Mrs. E[lizabeth](Wright)] Kelso, of Livonia, on Saturday morning the 25th instant, of lung fever, Miss Mary Wright; who for the past forty years was a member of the Missionary Baptist church, becoming, as we learn, identified (sic) first with the Mill Creek church and after the organization of a branch church at Livonia removed her membership to it from Mill Creek. She was a humble, contented Christian woman and her loss will be felt and her decrease mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral sermon was preached at the Baptist church yesterday evening at 2 p.m. by Rev. W. McCoy, after which her remains were interred in the Livonia cemetery."

"Mary Sarah Wright; {born ca 1816}; died 25 December 1880; age 64 years; "beloved sister". " Madison 67

"[The Salem Press, December 30, 1880] - Mrs. Wright, an aged lady of Livonia, died at that place last week. She was buried Sunday."

The above obituaries were taken from "Obituaries Selected Newspapers" of the Wash. Co. In Historical Society.

Unmarried.

Note: The birth date is from trees on Ancestry.com, but I cannot find any documentation for the date. The U.S. Census are quite inconsistent as to her birth year: 1850 Census gives abt. 1815; 1860 Census shows 1825, 1870 Census indicates 1822; and 1880 Census give birth year as about 1818 and her age as 62. The obituary states she died at age 64, which would make her birth year as about 1816.
