William Henry Phelps was born on August 17, 1830, to Sarah "Sallie" Ennis Phelps, age 19, and William Kinchens Phelps, age 27. William Henry Phelps married Lucy Lowrey, daughter of William T Lowrey and Elizabeth Davis, in November 1852 in Warren County, Kentucky and they had several children together. Lucy died 12 July 1888 in Dent County, Missouri and was buried in Union Cemetery from info from rootsweb. William Henry Phelps then married Rosanna Key on February 10, 1889 in Kezsville, Crawford, Missouri. William Henry Phelps died on July 31, 1906, having lived a long life of 75 years. Several trees have him dying in Salem, Daviess, Missouri.
