Virgil Andrews of Ola was born on November 18, 1920 in Cleveland, AR a son to Johnny Andrews and Mandy Elizabeth Watkins Andrews passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the age of 95.

Virgil was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Ola. In his younger years he loved to hunt quail and watch baseball. At an early age Virgil learned to play the guitar and sing. He sang many years will different people traveling all over singing in church or for anyone that would listen.

He is preceded in death by his parents; mother of his children: Connie Andrews Bankster and Olive Andrews; two brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Andrews is survived by Two daughters: Judy Summit and husband Johnny of Ola; Pam Crow and husband Sherman of Casa, eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, one niece and two nephews; step children: Wanda Ammons of Lake Charles, LA; and Carl Stracner of Texas.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM til 2:00PM Friday, October 28, 2016 at First Freewill Baptist Church in Ola with services starting at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Lost Corner Cemetery.
