She was the widow of Nevin H. Graff, who died May 26, 1989. Mayetta was born in Tilden Township and was the daughter of the late Claude and Verdie (Miller) Shollenberger.
She was a 1937 graduate of Hamburg High School and was employed at Wright's Knitwear as a machine operator until retiring in 1982.
Mayetta was a life-long member of St. Michael's Church, where she sung in the choir. She was a Sunday School teacher and also served as its President. Mayetta was a
former member of the Lutheran Church Women and served as President of the Ladies' Aid Society for 25 years. She was also a member of the Shoemakersville Fire
Company Auxiliary.
Two daughters survive Mayetta, Norma M., wife of Bobby Nanan, Waycross, Ga., Mary J., wife of David Mengle, Perry Township; grandchildren: David N., husband of Heidi Winward, Athens, Pa.; Barbra A., wife of Tom Forscht, Sellersville; Steven D., husband of Alicia Mengle, Mohrsville; and Karen M., wife of Jim Blanford, Windsor Township; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Lee H., husband of Helen Shollenberger, Tilden Township, Roy H., husband of Anna Shollenberger, Tilden Township; and a sister, Anna W., wife of Gerald Hill, Tiffin, Ohio;
a brother-in-law, Jim Lenhart, Windsor Township; and two sisters-in-law, Lillian Frankhauser, Temple, and Ruth Shollenberger, Hamburg.
Her siblings: Ralph Shollenberger, 1986, Mary Akers, 2011, Flora Bachman, 2010, Laura Wolfe, 2014, and a son-in-law, Dave Winward, 1993, predeceased Mayetta.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from St. Michael's Church, Tilden Township. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements.
