Marjorie Nell Skidmore Mulkey, age 88 of Dayton, TN and formerly of Camden, SC passed on Tuesday at the Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton, TN.
Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at New Direction Church of God located in Camden, SC with Reverend Burch Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Camden, SC.
She was the widow of the late Kenneth A. Mulkey and the daughter of the late Boyd and Martha Gaddy Skidmore. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Donald Skidmore, Rachel Hardin and Hilda Bostick.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Reverend Jim Mulkey (Lanelle) of Graysville, TN; a daughter, Martha M. Walker (Thomas) of Cassatt, SC; her siblings, Tommy Skidmore of Marietta, SC and Barbara Jean Stiller of Hampton, VA; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday (one hour prior to the service) at the church located at 2249 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Camden, SC 29020.
