Annabelle Lee Cowardin of Miami, OK passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw, OK. She was 84.
Annabelle was born June 15, 1932 in Centralia, OK to Calvin Arthur and Mary Trilby (Everett) Bryant.
She had lived in Miami for 36 years moving from Baxter Springs, KS. She graduated from White Oak High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Miami, OK.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband Teddy Fred Cowardin in 1976, a son Wayne Cowardin , a brother Arthur Bud Bryant and a sister Wanda Rice.
Survivors include 2 sons Monty Cowardin and wife Dianna of Baxter Springs, KS and Doug Cowardin of Maui Hawaii, a brother Calvin Bryant of Tulsa, OK and a sister Wilma Miller of Miami, OK. 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Miami, OK. Rev. Odell Carpenter will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, OK. Pallbearers will be Monty Cowardin, Doug Cowardin, Craig Cowardin, A.J. McKay, Tony Miller, Scott Miller and Dusty Miller. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
