Ronald W. Beckmeyer passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2016. A lifelong teacher and realtor, he dedicated his life to help others fulfill their dreams. Now, he may dream freely and without worry.
He is survived by a sister, Gloria Hively, Hellam; three children, Heidi Ilgenfritz, Stewartstown, Todd Beckmeyer, Glenville; two grandsons, Brent Strickhouser, Fowler, IN and Kyle Ilgenfritz, Easton. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Beckmeyer.
A celebration of his life will be held at Yorkshire U.M. Church on Thursday, October 27, 2016 with visitation from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York.
