Tillman Rowe Eye of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 23, 2009 at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy five years, two months, and twenty one days. He was born February 2, 1934 in Shirley, Missouri, to the late Ace Eye and Alice (Fitzwater) Eye. Tillman was one of seven children and was the third son.

Tillman's father taught him how to live in the outdoors. He learned to love being in the woods where he would hunt and fish. One of his favorite pastimes was bird hunting with his two Brittany Spaniels, Cindy and Penny.

Tim loved his country and had proudly served his country in the United States Army and had worked as an engineer while serving in the military in which was a very happy time in Tillman's young life. Soon after he was first married there were two beautiful christian daughters that had came into his life and they were Christine and Dianna. Then later in life these young ladies gave him seven grandchildren and He considered these children a Gods blessings.

Later in life the Lord united Nedra Nickelson and Tillman in Holy Matrimony on June 28, 2003. They had dated when they where teenagers. They shared six wonderful years together. Tillman was a loving and devoted husband and father.

In addition to his mother and father, Tillman was preceded in death by his two brothers Joseph Eye and Robert Eye.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are his wife Nedra Eye ; two daughters Christine Rountree and husband Clyde of Tennessee, Dianna Jones and husband Walter of Cape Girardeau; three sisters Lowayne Streckfuss of Potosi, Lois Swerik and husband Roger of Potosi, Iona "Peggy" Whitnah of Farmington; one brother Ace Eye and wife Lisa of Potosi; seven grandchildren Hannah Grace Rountree, Caleb Christian Eye- Jones, Weston Timothy Rountree, Noah Michael Eye- Jones Slater Elisha Rountree, Dawson Christopher Rountree, and Grant Justice Rountree; one life long hunting buddy James Simpson; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church in Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Jamie Haguewood officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Seth Gibson, Terry LaRue, Caleb Jones, Weston Rountree, Hannah G. Rountree, Billy Joe Wright and Wally Jones.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi, Missouri.
