He was born on April 20, 1927 in Grayson County, the son of the late Clyde and Louzetta Logsdon.
He was a Artisan, who enjoyed making knives, whittling, quilting and doing inlay work for instruments. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and a member of Wilhelm Masonic Lodge #720 in Clarkson, KY.
He is survived by one daughter, Glendolyn Thompson; three grandchildren, Katina Christy Whitsett (David), Stacey Tennille Andrews (Charles), Joseph Wade Thompson (Jessica); seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Derek, Kelsey, Sierra, Logan, Mason, Trinity; one half-sister Helen Haycraft.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pernie Butler Logsdon.
