Roland Southerland, age 72, of New York, entered eternal rest January 11, 2012, in the comfort of his home. He was born in Bridgeport, CT. Roland was a retired Account Manager from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. He attended Mother Zion Church in Harlem. Roland was predeceased by two siblings, Vincent Southerland Jr., and Cheryl Southerland. He leaves eight siblings to cherish his memory, five brothers, three sisters and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday 6:00PM at Morton's Mortuary Chapel, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport with Pastor William B. Sutton, III, officiating. Interment and viewing is private.
