Stanley Wayne Proper LADSON - Stanley Wayne Proper, 88, of Ladson, husband of Edesta V. Proper, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care of Walterboro. Family and friends are invited to his Graveside Service on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 3 o'clock at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston.

Mr. Proper was born June 1, 1928 in Okmulgee, OK, son of the late Homer Proper and Grace Rose McCall Proper. Mr. Proper was a veteran serving in the US Navy and retired as a Postal Carrier with the US Postal Service in Summerville.

He enjoyed fishing and relaxing at his place on the Edisto River. He was a very kind, patient and funny man. He was like the tide- very slow and patient. He was a member of the Carolina Masonic Lodge #375. Survivors, including his wife Edesta.
