Janice Stephens, 65, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 in Flower Mound, Texas.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 2801 Antilley Road, Pastor Clyde Kieschnick officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South.

Janice was born in Abilene, Texas on July 17, 1951 to R.C. And Marie Braune.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving family include her husband David Stephens, children; Zach Davis and fiancé Nicole Roberts, Elizabeth and husband Sam Constance, Zane and wife Melody Davis, grandchildren; Kolten Davis and Zoe Davis, and Max Constance, and sister, Glenda Schoessow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, 2801 Antilley Road, Abilene, Texas or to the Crystal Apple Teacher Recognition Awards, Garden City, Kansas.
