Spence, Edna Mae Acuff--age 80 of Powell, TN, passed away from complications of Parkinson's Disease on October 20, 2016 shortly after the passing of her beloved husband, Gary Allen Spence.

She was a beloved wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceded in death by parents, James Clyde and Allie Acuff; daughter, Patricia Spence Pruitt; three brothers; two sisters.

She is survived by daughter, Debbie Spence Collins (Powell); grandchildren, Jason Bergg (Powell), Elizabeth Robinson (Jackson, TN), Matthew Collins (Atlanta), Lauran Collins (Chattanooga); great grandchildren, Jordan Bragg (Powell), Makayla Robinson and Bailey Robinson (Jackson, TN); one brother; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Hal Johnson, Becky Haun, Sara Pixley, and Danielle Rickert.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 Monday, October 24, followed by a funeral service in Stevens Chapel at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Frank Dudley officiating.

Family and friends will meet 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 25 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 9:30 a.m. committal service.
