Glen Theodore Amenell, 59, who formerly lived at 1108 S. Fifth, Burlington, died Monday at 1:25 a.m. at St. Francis hospital after an extended illness. He was born Sept. 27, 1909, the son of August and Ellen Johnson Amenell. He married Katherine Shortridge in June of 1942 in Burlington. He attended Huron schools and was a veteran of World War II. He was employed at the lAAP and lived in Burlington. Surviving: His wife; one son, Jerry Amenell, Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Susan Griffith, West Burlington; three brothers, Verner and Alvin, both of Mediapolis, and Paul of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Creelman and Fern Amenell, both of rural Oakville. Services: Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Fry Chapel, Mediapolis: Kossuth Cemetery.
