Adrian was an avid sports player and a true athlete. He played for several teams, such as the Pajaro Valley Little League, Triple A Baseball #1, NFL Flag football, Watsonville Wildcatz Wrestling, and Soccer player for the Athletics of Watsonville. Adrian was a caring and loving boy with a spontaneous and adventurous personality that will be forever missed and always cherished.
Adrian is survived by his parents Christina Lopez (Mark Cabral) and Jose Bacanegra; brothers Isaiah and Christopher Anthony Bocanegra; grandparents Beatrice and Gabriel Lopez, and Marcellus and Maria Bocanegra; aunts Beatrice Lopez Ortiz and Vanessa Ballesteros; uncles Oscar Ortiz and Ivan Ballesteros; and numerous cousins.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016, from 5 to 9 p.m., with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m., at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 6, 2016, at 1 p.m., at Valley Catholic Church. A Celebration of Life Service will follow on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 11 a.m., at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, with the burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Road, Watsonville.
