Lance Cpl. Stephen L. Morris of Lake Jackson, Texas graduated from Brazoswood High School in 2004. He joined the Marines after graduating and arrived in Hawai'i that November for his first assignment. He was a religious man who also loved to surf. He also loved to share his faith with his fellow soldiers in Iraq. Stephen was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson where you could often find him if he wasn't surfing. He was 21.
