Kenneth E. Alexander, 76
Kenneth Eugene Alexander, Route 6, Liberty, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 1991 at the Russell County Hospital. He was 76 years old.
Born in Fairfield, Ill. on Feb. 11, 1915, he was a son of the late Joseph and Georgia Hunt Alexander.
He was formerly a factory worker for Sun Strand in Illinois and was first married to Louisia Wright Alexander, who preceded him in death. He later married Margaret Haggard Alexander, who survives.
Other survivors include four sons, John Alexander of Italy, Tex., Larry, Kenneth Jr. and Clyde Alexander, all of Rockford, Ill.; six daughters, Margaret Ashcraft, Linda Mailand, Mary Francis and Dasie Martin, all of Rockford, Ill., Claria Castor of Ft. Dodge, Iowa and Bunny Alexander of Jamesville, Wisc.; three stepdaughters, Betty Boaz, Janet Wilson and Sue King, all of Liberty; a sister, Pearl Brenner of Sims, Ill.; 44 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Joe Alexander; two brothers, Charles and Joe Alexander; and a sister, Esther Richardson.
Funeral services were Dec. 15 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Vernon Blakey officiating. Burial was in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Billy Francis, Steve Wilson, David Mailand, Ernie Ashcraft, Eugene Ashcraft and Andrew Castor.
