DETROIT, MICHIGAN — Clyde D. Clack, 66, formerly of Decatur, died Oct. 17, 2016. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James CPCA with burial in Calvary Memorial Gardens. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Sharpley Funeral Home is directing.

Clyde Dillahay "Smokey" Clack
was born in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Willie Clack, Jr and Merlene Tucker-Clack.

Life:
To this union 5 children were born.
Clyde was born and raised in the community of Moulton Heights in Decatur, Alabama.
In 1968, he graduated from Lakeside High School.
After graduating high school he served proudly in the United States Marine Corp. Clyde served in the Vietnam War and served his country until receiving an Honorable Discharge from the military.
He worked for the U. S. Postal Service in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a musician that inherited his mother's skills. Clyde played the piano for entertainment and loved writing and recording music. Clyde possessed a genuine love for music, sports and people. Clyde enjoyed sharing time with his family and friends. He was long time resident of Decatur, Alabama, but later relocated to Detroit, MI until his departure.

Family:
He is preceded in death by his father: Willie Clack, Jr. 1 sister: Durlene Clack-Bentford also preceded him in death.
