He lived in Atlanta all of his life, except for 4 years of army service during World War II. He was a member of Shearith Israel synagogue and taught in the religious school there. He was also founder and past president of the Atlanta chapter of the American Zionist Association. He was survived by his wife, parents, sisters and brothers.
