C. V. Bledsue Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

C. V. Bledsue, 62, was dead on arrival at a hospital early Monday after suffering a heart attack at his residence, 3220 Orchard.

Bledsue formerly had suffered with a heart condition but had been in good health until the fatal attack.
He was a native of Collin County and had lived in Fort Worth since 1926.

Bledsue was a painting contractor.

He was a member of the Kennedale Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodges and Forest Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife; four sons, Lee, Lilburn, J.R. and Fred Bledsue of Fort Worth; three daughters, Mmes. Lorene Chase of Dallas and Ethel Waggon and Helen Hood of Fort Worth; mother, Mrs. L. L. Benjamin of Dallas; four half sisters, Mmes. Jackie Prince, Tommie Huddleston and Beulah Hinson of Dallas and Jean Carlock of Fort Worth; four half brothers, Albert, Rawl, Porter and Earl of Dallas; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Bledsue will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Shannon's Chapel with burial in Mount Olivet.
